In a shocking incident, 18-year-old boy late night on Friday was arrested for allegedly having a sex with a dog at Lok Puram Society in Thane.

The accused has been identified as Ragvendra Kumar Chatoprasad Chaurasia, who is employed as a watchman at Lok Puram society gate. The incident came to light when a Pet Owners and Animal Lovers (PAL) team member got a call regarding the incident.

Speaking to ThaneMirror, Vartaknagar police said, “The incident took place at around 7.25 pm and the complaint was lodged at 10:30 pm on Friday. The case has been registered under section 377 (unnatural offences) of IPC.”

PAL Thane spokesperson Neha Dabir told ThaneMirror, “The PAL team got a call from a member Aditya saying that there was a case of sexual abuse in his building in Lok Puram. Following which, PAL Chairperson Aditi Nair along with other team members rushed to the spot, where the accused was cornered by the society members in a security office.”

Neha further added, “There were eye witnesses to the crime. The accused had taken the dog inside the room, switched off the lights and was having sex with her.”

The spokesperson also claimed that the accused has admitted to the crime and was not under the influence of alcohol or intoxicated while committing the crime.

“The accused was produced before the local court on Saturday and has been remanded to police custody till September 29 for further investigation,” said police on the condition of anonymity.

Taking to Facebook, Neha wrote, “The eye witnesses have received a few threats from some people asking to back down, but the PAL team will follow up on the case and make sure the accused will be punished for his actions.”

“The dog is safe and medically fine. The PAL Medical team has collected samples and sent them for further investigation and proof,” she added.

  1. This is the only reason that why we need SEX EDUCATION.
    And I think that it(sex education) should be made compulsory.
    As we all compare many things with developed countries like America so we should also know that the kids over there are given lectures on Sex Education when the kids are of 11years of age
