The Thane Crime Branch has reunited 17-year-old, who ran away from his Mira Road home last month.
According to police, Vikas Shah (name changed), a son of the builder had left his house on August 21, along with his belongings like laptop, motorcycle and some cash. as he did not wanted to study and do something in his life on his own.
However, when the parents of the boy failed to get in touch with him even after two days, they approached the Bhayander police in Thane, fearing that he might have been abducted. But when they could not get leads into the case, the matter was later taken up by the anti-extortion cell of police, who traced the boy to Pune and reunited him with his family on Friday.
The teenager told police that he was doing a job for Rs 5,000 and had left his house to earn a living on his own.
